New Patient Information

If you are new to the practice we would be grateful if you could spare a few minutes to read the information on this page prior to your first visit.

Making appointments:
If you need an appointment urgently, try to ring us soon after the surgery opens in the morning. This will normally enable us to fit you in on the same day. Alternatively you could request an appointment by using the email link on the top right hand side of your screen. We will try to match your request if you enclose in your email some dates and times that are convenient for you. You will need to enclose your full name, address and telephone number.

If this is your first visit please download and print this medical history questionnaire to fill in at home and take along when you come and see us. This will easier if you need to record any medication you are taking and will speed up the registration process considerably.

Missed appointments: We do not double-book appointments as we know your time is precious and we will do our best to be waiting for you at your booked time. You will understand that the inevitable flip side of the deal is that we do expect 24 hours notice if you cannot attend. Failing to comply with this will incur a charge for lost surgery time as we could have been helping other patients during that appointment. Location: The practice is located within a 2 minutes walk from the city centre and the bus station. The Canterbury East train station is approximately 10 minutes walk away. Dover Street is the parallel road behind the Odeon cinema and we are next to the Cantina restaurant.

If you are arriving by car then we have a large public car park immediately opposite the surgery.If you are not familiar with the Canterbury traffic and are arriving during the morning or evening rush hour, please take the rather heavy traffic into consideration when you plan your trip.

Opening hours:
Monday, Thursday, Friday: 8:30-12:30 and 13:30-17:30
Tuesday: 8:30-12:30 and 13:30-19:00
Wednesday: Closed all day
Alternate Saturday mornings: 9:00-12:00
