Our Surgery

A modern, computerised and air-conditioned surgery with restful colour combinations and plants to soften the otherwise clinical cleanliness which is essential in any surgery

We use a digital x-ray system which reduces the radiation compared to a conventional analog x-ray machine and only use white filling materials.

Dr Stephanie Uddoh - Dental Surgeon

FDS RCS(Ed)

Stephanie recently became the Principal Dentist of Dental Care Centre. She has several years of dental experience in general dental practice, and oral surgical experience working in various Oral and Maxillo Facial units across the country.

She holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Lagos, and the Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.

Stephanie has a special interest in implant and cosmetic dentistry including Invisalign therapy. She is passionate about what she does and regularly attends courses to update her knowledge. She is friendly and gentle in her approach which tends to place nervous patients at ease.

When not working, Stephanie enjoys time with family and friends, and ice skating.

Dr Craig Kennett BDS Lond1990, PhD FDS RCPS(Glasgow)

Specialist Periodontist

Dr Craig Kennett brings to the Dental Care Centre over 30 years’ of clinical experience. He studied dentistry at King’s College London, graduating in 1990. In 1995, he obtained his PhD in Periodontology, and a fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow followed in 1999. He has been a specialist in periodontics since 1999. Dr Kennet’s work experience is very vast, having worked in the hospital dental setting, community dentistry, in general and in specialist practices. He has also lectured in Periodontology at St Barts and the Royal London Hospital. He has been placing dental implants since 1998.

When not working, Craig enjoys travelling and time with family and friends.

Treatments offered

Craig particularly enjoys working with dental implants particularly cases that call upon his skill set such as full mouth rehabilitation including same day teeth. He has experience with all-on-4 hybrid and 6 -implant bridges. Dr Kennett is also adept at complex surgical extractions, wisdom teeth removal, and bone grafting including sinus lifts.

He also offers a full range of non-surgical and surgical periodontal treatment, as well as guided tissue regeneration and recession defect treatment.

Dr Ellie Tonsbeek BDS

General Dentist (BDS) and Specialty Dentist in Oral Surgery

Ellie qualified from the University of Bristol with a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery in 2019. After initially working in a dental practice as a general dentist, she moved to London in September 2020 to gain valuable surgical experience. She worked as a Senior House Officer in Restorative Dentistry, Oral Surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery at Guys and St Thomas Hospital and Kings College Hospital, respectively. She also had the honour of presenting her work at National and International conferences, as well as gaining a fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2022.

Through these experiences, Ellie has honed her oral surgery skills and currently divides her time between her role at the Dental Care Centre and as a Specialty Dentist in Oral Surgery at Guys’ and St Thomas Hospital, with a special interest in temporomandibular joint disorders (TMJD).

In Ellie’s free time she enjoys hiking in the English countryside, playing sports, as well as spending time with her family and friends.

Alice Wilson - Dental Hygienist

Alice is a registered Dental Hygienist who completed her Foundation Degree in Oral Health Science at the University of Essex. Her passion for improving gum health and promoting preventive dentistry began while working as a dental nurse in the periodontology department at the Eastman Dental Hospital.

Alice strongly believes in the importance of dental hygiene and helping patients achieve better oral health. Regular visits to a dental hygienist can significantly reduce the risk of developing gum disease, improve the overall health of the mouth, and provide patients with personalised education on how to improve their at-home cleaning routine to meet their dental goals.

Alice has experience treating anxious patients and employs holistic approaches to dentistry to help them relax and feel reassured during their visit. Visiting a dental hygienist not only improves oral health but can also boost patient confidence through the removal of plaque, calculus, and staining.In her free time, Alice enjoys running, listening to music and socialising with friends and family.
